Verse 1: The Call to the Pure One
The naat opens with the repeated invocation “Ya Tayyaba” (O Pure One), immediately establishing a tone of love and reverence. The verse then addresses the Prophet as “Shaafi al-Mudhnibeen” (Intercessor for the sinners), acknowledging the Islamic belief that the Prophet will intercede for his followers on the Day of Judgement.

The imagery of being “alone in a crowd without support” reflects the feeling of spiritual emptiness that can only be filled through the Prophet’s intercession.

This verse affirms the Prophet’s exalted status. He is described as the King of both this world and the afterlife. It also highlights his role as the Guardian (nigarān) of the helpless, showing that the Prophet is a source of protection and guidance for those who have no one else.
